Plain Township has partnered with the Ohio Treasurer's office by joining the statewide transparency initiative and posting the township's checkbook level spending online at: PlainTownshipStark.OhioCheckbook.com

Plain Township is part of the early wave of Ohio local governments and schools participating in this transparency partnership to open the checkbook for residents to follow their money. Hundreds of Ohio counties, cities, schools, public universities, townships and special districts across Ohio have joined the movement towards greater transparency. Checkbook level data is searchable by category, vendor, keywords and more.

All state spending information is posted online for the first time in Ohio history! Over $534 billion of state spending information is available for taxpayers to search, sort and download. You can now view how your money is spent by visiting PlainTownshipStark.OhioCheckbook.com.
